Investigators released surveillance photos of the suspect Thursday. The pictures show the man inside the Bank of America branch at Cedar and Shepherd on July 9th.
Police say he broke into a vehicle at the victim's home and stole personal belongings, including the victim's checkbook. They say he used those items as well as another persons stolen ID to pass the bogus check.
The man in the photos is believed to be 25-35 years old, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs between 150 and 180 pounds.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Fresno Police.
