AT&T to start limiting heavy data users

AT&T says it's going to start limiting speeds for 5 percent of its customers with unlimited data smartphone plans.

Those who will face limits are customers who use the most data. The measure will take effect in October.

It's intended to alleviate congestion on the network.

The company said it will warn users when they are approaching the cutoff limit.
