The accident happened as the couple was walking outside of the Walgreen's pharmacy on Villa and Shaw at about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities tell Action News a driver in his 70's was driving near the front of the Walgreens. The car then pinned the woman and man against a metal cage containing a propane tank. Both were hospitalized, the woman later died. There is no word on the man's condition.
