/*Kao Kue*/ died Wednesday evening at a /*Modesto*/ hospital. He would have begun his senior year at /*Clovis West*/ later this month.
Family members say Kue was hiking on Mist Trail near Vernal Fall when he fell and hit his head. Kue's volleyball coach says the teen was a role and model on and off the court.
Teammates plan to wear Kue's number on their uniform this season. They're also planning a memorial scholarship in his honor.
Kue is the 15th person to die in /*Yosemite*/ this year.
