The latest in high-tech terms made an impression on the editors of the Oxford English Dictionary. Four words with tech origins have been added to the 100-year-old dictionary's latest edition.

The words are retweet, which is to forward a message on Twitter, sexting, to send sexually explicit messages by mobile phone, cyberbullying, to use communications technology to intimidate or harass and WOOT, which is used in electronic communication to express elation or triumph.

The words are among 400 new words in the dictionary started by brothers Henry and George Fowler in Guernsey, England in 1911.
