The 7th Annual Coastal Cleanup Project is set for Saturday September 17th where volunteers will help clean up trash along the Kings River. Organizers say the garbage removal is vital in protecting the lives of Valley wildlife.
The event is the largest volunteer even held in California. Last year about 300 people showed up do their part.
Gloves, water and a free lunch will be provided.
