There are desks, file cabinets, tables and many more home office supplies. The city is also selling tools such as root cutters, jig saws and chain saws. Due to budget cuts, even more items will be on sale this year.
"We got a company to do our mowing and our maintenance of our parks, we have our first sale of mowers, trailers and trucks our parks division used to use," said Pam Whala with the City of Merced.
All items are sold "as is" and there is no warrant or guarantee on the items. Bidders are expected to inspect the items before submitting a bid.
Most of the property can be inspected between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
