In 2009, two months before his death, Dr. Dwight James says Michael Jackson reached out, through a nurse, requesting Propofol. Dr. James says he refused the request. He says, "I would never administer it, period, because I am not trained to do that." The Porterville doctor says the drug should only be administered in a hospital environment or by a properly trained physician. He says he stands by his decision to deny Jackson's request.
