Investigators from the "Multi-Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium", or the MAGEC team, say they were following a tip about stolen AK-74 assault rifles from the Fort Irwin military base in the Mojave Desert.
Officers raided a business in Parlier and a home in Kingsburg on Wednesday.
They say they found dozens of assault weapons, a grenade launcher and other weapons.
Officers say they've arrested 41-year-old Christopher Haga on a number of weapons-related charges.
