Marijuana-shaped candy outrages parents

FRESNO, California

The "pothead ring pots" and "pothead lollipops" will not get a child high-but parents are upset because the candy is in the shape of a marijuana plant.

Family advocates say the product and grocers who carry it represent a new low.

The candy can be found in one-thousand stores across the country and promotes the legalization of marijuana.

The packaging includes a joint-smoking user flashing the peace sign. Critics say it's not only in poor taste, but an invitation for children to try the real thing.
