The 15th annual Junior High Leadership Summit was held Friday in Visalia.
Middle school leaders from across Tulare County gathered to learn about bullying and how they can help stop and prevent it.
More than twelve Tulare County middle schools took part in the summit.
"It reminds us that we can have a big influence and if we help out then others will too," Logan Iosefa of Sundale Union School said.
"Their actions are huge because students actions speak louder than their words the students can go back and make the changes. Even though the administrators want to make the changes, the students are going to be the ones to come down and make the changes themselves," Tony Cavanaugh of the Tulare County Office of Education said.
Later the students developed ideas on how to implement anti-bullying programs at their own schools.
