The group says sheriff's deputies have told them to take down their tents so they were forced to find other ways to stay warm overnight.
Demonstrators say they are a part of the Occupy Wall Street movement, which is holding similar protests in cities across America.
The group is calling for an end to what it calls "corporate greed."
Occupy Fresno says it does not have a specific time frame for when protestors will stop camping downtown.
