N. Valley park's new look revealed

FRESNO, Calif.

People gathered at the Madera Rotary Park in Madera today celebrating three new picnic pavilions.

The City of Madera Parks and Community Services Department teamed up with Noon Rotary to apply for the block grant to help clean up the aging park.

"This is just a fantastic day, it is being in the City Of Madera Parks and Community Services Department, working with outside agencies to make things come to fruition . It's a fantastic way to celebrate a community coming together to improve the amenities for all of Madera to use," Mary Anne Seay of Madera Parks and Community Services said.

The aging picnic pavilions were replaced with state of the art steel structures to help avoid deterioration and weather related damage.
