New Jersey politician apologizes for sex tweet

FRESNO, Calif.

Phil Mitsch is a realtor who is running for office in November and often tweets "tips" to his 44,000 Twitter followers.

Thursday, he said he was quoting the words of Jerry Hall, Mick Jagger's ex wife, when he tweeted out: "Women, you increase your odds of keeping your men by being faithful, a lady in the living room and a (blank) in the bedroom."

With a statement, Mitsch apologized for any offense he might have caused anyone because of the tweet.
