NB Hwy 99 ramps between Jensen and Ashlan Ave. will close

FRESNO, Calif.

Highway 99 ramps from Jensen Ave. to Ashlan Ave. were closed overnight from 7:00 p.m. Wednesday until 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning. They will be closed again on Thursday night through Friday morning during the same hours.

Also both eastbound and westbound 180 connectors to northbound 99 will be closed during these time periods as well.

NB 99 Lane, Connector & Ramp Closures Begin Tonight

NORTHBOUND STATE ROUTE 99 LANE, CONNECTOR & RAMP CLOSURES BEGIN TONIGHT

WHAT: PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT ON NORTHBOUND 99

WHEN: TONIGHT, WEDS, OCT 26TH & THURSDAY, OCT 27TH FROM 7:00 P.M. UNTIL 6:00 A.M. EACH MORNING.

WHERE: WITHIN THE CITY OF FRESNO, FROM THE JENSEN AVENUE OFF-RAMP TO THE ASHLAN AVENUE OFF-RAMP.

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces beginning tonight, approximately 9-miles of emergency pavement rehabilitation operations on northbound State Route 99 will require the closure of the number 2 (middle) & number 3 (slow lane) within the City of Fresno.

Motorists will be subject to two traffic lanes being closed along northbound 99 due to required lane reductions necessary to safely implement this project. The number 1 (fast lane) will remain open at all times. As part of this rehabilitation project, additional on/off ramps located within the project limits may be closed on a temporary basis in order to safely complete paving operations. The following CONNECTORS will also be subject to a complete closure from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.:

Westbound SR 180 connector to northbound SR 99
Eastbound SR 180 loop connector to northbound SR99

Motorists will experience delays within this area during this time. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route if possible. (Schedule subject to change due to weather or unforeseen contractor operations).
