FRESNO, Calif.

Final reports show that California farmers sold nearly 63-thousand tons of apricots this year.

The total is about the same as last year.

As with many other crops, the apricot harvest began later and ran longer than usual.

The Apricot Producers of California organization says that after years of surplus, farmers are now able to sell all they grow.

Friday is the last night of the year for the Clovis farmer's market.

The farmer's market was so popular this year organizers extended the market through October this year.

And good news for you Halloween procrastinators.

If you haven't carved a jack-o-lantern, the market has a pumpkin patch.

The market is open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday night.
