The Gluten Free, Please bakery opened its doors this week on the corner of Clovis and Herndon Avenues.
The bakery specializes in cookies, cupcakes, breads, pie and more. The owner says she hopes to make the unique bakery a success in an area that has few options for baked gluten-free goods.
"We put up our sign last week and we've had quite a few people walk in and express how excited they are for us to be opening. We've been doing a lot of social media like Facebook and Twitter as well as reaching out to the local bloggers," owner Janet Billon said.
The bakery also offers special order items to suit more personal needs. For the holidays, they'll also be offering a variety of pies, and even gluten-free entrees including stuffing.
