A large crowd gathered to see the top of the tree through one clear section of the truck its on. Many also signed the giant Christmas card lining the side of the truck.

The tree was cut down earlier this month in the Stanislaus National Forest. It's now making a twenty day trip to the capitol, with several stops along the way.

The tree will be in Fresno Friday for the Veterans Day Parade before heading to Children's Hospital Central California later in the afternoon, and then Kingsburg Friday evening.
