Police responded to the intersection of Waterman and Merced and found the victim just after 11 a.m. Tuesday morning. He was shot once in the leg.
The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and is expected to survive. Police closed a large part of the neighborhood while they searched for a suspect.
No one has been arrested. The motive for the shooting is still unknown.
