Nurseries in the Valley say they have been busy helping people find the right tools to protect their plants.

One of the products they suggest is frost cloth. You lay it on top of plants and tie it down.

Botanical experts say it will warm the plants by six to eight degrees and is maintenance free.

"It can stay on with that plant, everyday during the cold," said Debroah Suffell. "You don't have to cover and uncover it."

Experts also warn to not use plastic tarps or blankets, their weight can damage the plants.

But, if you don't have time to go out and buy materials you can use umbrellas to cover plants.
