Search warrant leads to meth lab in Tulare County

FRESNO, Calif.

A five month investigation led Tulare County Sheriff's to a house in Pixley where a working meth ice conversion lab was found.

Investigators say 50-year-old David and 37-year-old Arminda Vega were using liquid meth to make "ice" which is a pure form of the drug. Three pounds of "ice" was seized and valued between $60 and $80 thousand.

Children under the age of 16 were inside of the house at the time.

The two suspects have been booked into the Tulare County jail.
