31 students in Cliff Nitschke's AP Government Class at Clovis North High School -- appeared on "World News with Diane Sawyer."
This after the group took on a nationwide challenge called "Made in America."
The idea is to find a $64 dollar American-made product in an effort to stimulate the economy and create 200 thousand jobs.
The students did most of their research on the internet and then presented their findings in a video they submitted to the show's producers.
"There were some really strange things. There was the world's largest gummy bear, it was a 5 pound gummy bear about this big, which was crazy," said Nitschke. "And a gummy worm which is 9ft long. Plus things like jellyfish tanks made in San Francisco."
Nitschke says the most important lesson his students learned was that a very small act, can make a huge difference in our nation's economy.
