For about a month over the holidays the Fresno Bar Association held a book drive called "Book Em!"
About 25-thousand books were collected.
Teague Elementary in Northwest Fresno was the first campus to receive a shipment.
Lawyers with the group say this drive was important to help reduce illiteracy in the Valley.
Donations are going to 28 other elementary, junior high, and high schools around Fresno County within the next month.
