The surveillance video shows the two suspects -- /*Adrian Esquer*/ and /*Anthony Hansen*/ -- running out of the mall's east entrance. It also shows some scared shoppers running into nearby stores.
Just before 7pm on Friday -- police say the suspects got into an argument with an opposing gang member. Investigators say one of the suspects opened fire, hitting the other gang member in the neck. An innocent bystander was shot in the leg. Police submitted the case to the district attorney's office.
Sgt. Amy Watkins said, "Keep in mind when these shots did occur a lot of the patrons were closest to the businesses in the mall. They actually fled into the stores where they took cover."
Authorities are pursuing attempted murder charges against both suspects. They could make their first court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
