Houlding Precision Firearms opened its doors for the first time Tuesday night.
The company will not only sell guns and offer safety training classes, but it will also manufacture custom made weapons on site.
The owners tell Action News there are only a handful of similar businesses in the state.
They're confident this one will be a success based on the growing firearms industry.
"It's been growing and chugging along and actually doing better than other sectors of the economy, so we're hopeful and very encouraged," owner Todd Houlding said.
The business will cater much of its services to law enforcement and military agencies.
The owners hope to expand and hire on more people in the near future.
