Erick Gant was arrested around 5 p.m. Tuesday evening after Fresno Police say he resisted arrest and fought with two officers.
Authorities say they stopped Gant while he was riding his bike.
When officers tried to pat him down to check for weapons. police say he became physical and took off running.
Officers say they later found a loaded gun in Gant's pocket and arrested him for being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm.
