Neng Yang appeared at the county courthouse Wednesday morning to face 45 counts of child molestation.
Action News also uncovered a search warrant with details from the investigation. It shows Clovis Police seized ten flash drives, three laptop computers, and three articles of clothing from Yang's house on the day of his arrest two weeks ago.
His attorney believes Yang's status as an accused sex offender is putting him at risk in court.
"Just as I'm standing here with him, I'm certainly getting threatening looks, as is Mr. Yang, from the other people in the courtroom -- other in custodies," said Yang's defense attorney Margarita Martinez-Baly.
The judge ruled Wednesday that Yang doesn't have to appear at his next hearing, which is scheduled in April. He is also facing federal charges.
