/*Aaron Lewis Gaudinier*/, 47, was booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections shortly after noon Thursday, after deputies found numerous images of child pornography, digital photographs of children, as well as a small pile of childrens' undergarments and narcotics.
Just before 9AM Madera County Sheriff's Detectives (working in conjunction with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force -- ICAC) served a search warrant at the suspect's home located on Panoramic Drive in the county of Madera.
Several thousand sexually explicit images of children were recovered. In addition to the graphic images, deputies also seized a bag of processed marijuana and childrens' underwear.
Detectives were tipped off earlier this month and were able to secure a warrant to search the suspect's home.
Those who investigate crimes against children say today's shocking discovery is not uncommon. Their behavior is progressive in nature ... often starting out with downloading child pornography ... then leading to actual acts of molestation.
In this particular case, evidence gathered leads detectives to believe there may be potential victims of molestation.
