Blue Moon Yoga in Northeast Fresno hosted it's fourth annual Cupcakes For Cancer fundraiser with all proceeds going to a student battling the disease.
Students and community members baked all kinds of cupcakes which were then sold before and after today's yoga sessions.
The studio's owner says yoga is very much about giving and helping others."Cancer and life threatening illnesses hit just about every household. So it's really close to heart for a lot of people, even if they're not one of our yoga studio students or members. People care and they have a lot to give," said Amy Pittelkau.
Pittelkau says Cupcakes For Cancer started four years ago when her brother and sister were both diagnosed with cancer within a single week.
She says the fundraiser helps patients cover the hidden costs associated with cancer.
