Visitors to the World Ag Expo were greeted with some rain, as they arrived to the International Agri-Center in Tulare Wednesday morning.
Nearly all of the walking areas are dirt so parts of the grounds are pretty muddy and have puddles -- but overall, visitors said the rain didn't stop them from coming out and checking out the World Ag Expo.
"The rain didn't deter us at all we just wanted to see what was the latest and greatest in agriculture," said Alysha Brown of Orosi.
Many of the exhibitors here say they welcome the rain. They said farmers not only need it, but when it rains they're not out irrigating their fields and thus have more time to come out to the World Ag Expo.

It's not all tractors and big machines at the World Ag Expo. There's also a softer side.
Ryan Pascoe, brother of former Fresno State standout and now Super Bowl champion Bear Pascoe, showed us his herding dogs. These dogs have trained since they were puppies.
Pascoe says he depends on the dogs to take care of about 80,000 acres and 2,000 cows.
"They're like having your right and left hand. They just save us, save our horses. They can go where neither of us can. They're just amazing animals," said Ryan Pascoe.
Pascoe says the dogs also save him money, since one dog is like having three cowboys.
