Study: More adults living with parents, but not for free

FRESNO, Calif.

The percentage of kids moving back home is at a 50 year high. In 2010, more than 21 percent of adults were living with their parents -- that's a big jump from just ten years before.

But according to a study by the Pew Research Center, these kids are not getting a free ride. The study also said 48 Percent of kids ages 25 to 34 living at home pay rent to their parents, and almost 90 percent pitched in for household expenses including groceries.

According to Pew, more than three-quarters say they're satisfied with their current living situation and they feel confident about their future finances.
