Fresno State Farm Market back open after crash

FRESNO, Calif.

Saturday, shoppers were allowed inside the now boarded up store.

Damage is estimated in the thousands of dollars, but students say the store is insured -- and this isn't the first time someone has crashed into the building.

"Last time the gentleman started braking and accidentally hit the accelerator and hit our wall. The wall gave a little but did no damage," said Joseph Rodrigues with the Fresno State Market.

Students say they did lose a lot of product and some equipment, but they plan to stay open as usual.

Police say the man who caused the crash is 30-year-old Brian Goodman. He is a known gang member. He was arrested for driving under the influence and having a stolen gun.
