The attorney for martin's family says the video does not show Zimmerman suffered a broken nose or external head injuries, and can be used as further evidence to question Zimmerman's claims.

President Obama is pushing for congress to eliminate tax breaks for oil companies. The president will deliver a speech calling for congress to end the $4-billion dollars in subsidies for oil and gas companies. The address comes ahead of a Senate vote on legislation to repeal oil tax subsidies.

Hazmat cleanup in Central Fresno
The Fresno Fire Department is mopping up after a small chemical spill at an anodizing company in Central Fresno. Firefighters responded just after 3 a.m. to Pacific Coast Anodizing on Pine near McKinley. A malfunction caused a small chemical spill. Environmental health will go in to assess the equipment.

Central California S.P.C.A. to cut ties with City and County of Fresno
The Central California S.P.C.A. is cutting ties with the City and County of Fresno after more than 30 years. The announcement comes after several months of criticism -- including claims that they don't do enough to save animal lives. The decision means, as of October first, both the city and county of Fresno will have to find another agency to provide animal control services.
