California's High Speed-Rail Authority is expected to announce a more cost effective proposal this morning. The revised plan will cost $30 billion less and includes a revised track that would connect Merced to the San Fernando Valley within 10 years.
Owner of dealership injured in hit-run during car theft
Police are looking for a suspect who they say, ran down a car dealership owner while he was trying to steal a car from the victim's lot in Southeast Fresno. The hit and run happened yesterday at the Autoland dealership near Cedar and Belmont. Police say the suspect later abandoned the stolen car in a nearby neighborhood.
