Hiring slows, unemployment rate at 8.2 percent
The March jobs report out this morning shows U.S. hiring slowed last month. Employers added 120,000 jobs to bring the unemployment rate down to 8.2 percent. Stock markets are closed today for the Good Friday holiday.

Two Dos Palos teens wounded in double shooting
North Valley authorities are investigating a double shooting that sent two Dos Palos teens to the hospital. Authorities say a 14-year-old was shot once and a 15-year-old was shot multiple times. Both were taken to the hospital. Their conditions have not yet been released.

Fresno 2035 General Plan
The Fresno City Council is delaying a decision on the future of Fresno. A meeting at City Hall last night lasted more than six hours, but in the end the council decided to postpone a vote on the city's 2035 general plan. The Fresno City Council is scheduled to vote on the plan in two weeks.

Christians worldwide are celebrating Good Friday today
Good Friday commemorates the day Christians believe Jesus was crucified -- only to be resurrected three days later. Tonight is the start the Jewish holiday of Passover. President Obama and first Lady Michelle Obama will mark the beginning of Passover tonight with a Seder at the White House.
