Former Fresno softball league treasurer admits embezzlement

FRESNO, Calif.

It's a story Action News uncovered last year.

Tracy Kamimoto walked out of court Tuesday morning after pleading "no contest" to embezzlement charges.

As we reported in December, Kamimoto turned over falsified bank statements to league officers when she left the treasurer position at the Central Youth Softball League.

Police determined she'd embezzled more than $30 thousand.

She will not serve jail time for the felony, but she'll get five years probation and will have to pay restitution to the league.
