The home invasion robbery took place near El Portal and Parsons in Merced.
/*Judy Lang*/, 82, fell asleep in a chair around 11:30 Sunday night when she was awakened by a slight tap to the head with a handgun.
Two suspects came into the home through a sliding glass door that was left unlocked.
One of the suspects was wearing a ski mask and demanded the jewelry she was wearing. She led them to her car to get her purse.
Lang did not get a good description of the suspects.
Anyone with any information about this crime is asked to call police.
