$1M worth of pirated DVD's seized in SW Fresno

FRESNO, Calif.

/*Jose Jeronimo-Jimenez*/ and /*Alberto Campos-Limon*/ made their first appearance in federal court.

The two men are charged with criminal copyright infringement, conspiracy and trafficking counterfeit labels.

The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents say they issued a search warrant at a home in Southwest Fresno where they found more than 70-thousand pirated discs.

Police say this is one of the most significant busts they have made.

Mike Prado with Homeland Security said, "The size and scope of this was so large that we actually elicited assistance from the motion picture and the recording industry association of America who provided us investigative assistance on this."

Investigators say they found equipment commonly used to mass produce DVD's inside of the household.

The men face up to five years in prison for each offense.
