Keller Williams Realty in Visalia took part in Red Day -- an annual, nationwide event where employees volunteer in the community. Realtors helped paint the outside of a house. The woman was in jeopardy of losing her homeowners insurance and wasn't able to paint the house herself because of a disabling condition.
Susan Renteria said, "It's our way of giving back to the community that we live in and it's a day of camaraderie where we get together and we paint, we laugh, talk and make the project a fun one and at the end of the day we get to see what we did to help a homeowner."
Employees helped fix up six homes across Tulare County as part of national Red Day.
