A dismal jobs report shows only 69,000 jobs were added in May. Economists had predicted 150,000 jobs. The unemployment rate also jumped to 8.2 percent.
Family escapes Fresno house fire
A Southeast Fresno family is okay this morning after a fire ripped through their home. Fire crews say the family was able to save many personal belongings before the flames became too intense.
Two-alarm fire displaces a Northwest Fresno family
Fire fighters also still trying to determine the cause of a house fire in Northwest Fresno. The fire started around 8 p.m. last night. No one was hurt and the fire did between $65,000 and $80,000 in damage.
Chaffee Zoo filling Sea Lion Cove with water
The zoo is filling up the Sea Lion Cove for the first time right now and Action News A.M. Live is the only station there as the zoo take this major step in the new exhibit.
