Foie Gras is created by force-feeding ducks or geese through tubes until their livers grow to more than ten times their normal size. A ban on the delicacy went into effect July 1st, but many restaurants have been finding ways around it.
The house is expected to vote on the whole Farm Bill, including this amendment, within the next few months, but an actual date has yet to be set.
