Teenage World Changers in Clovis

FRESNO, Calif.

Crouching over in the heat and putting in 8 hour days of pure muscle is not how most teenagers choose to spend their summer break. But, ask any of these teens and they'll tell you, this is exactly where they want to be.

"Makes me feel great and I hope the family shares that love with someone else too," said Matt Chan. The 17 year-old has volunteered with the non-profit, World Changers for five years.

Every summer Chan and about 200 kids come to Clovis to give about a dozen homes of low income families a much-needed facelift. They also gave the Salvation Army some love. Andy Haussler with the City of Clovis says, "It gives Salvation Army just a little bit of a hug to help them in their mission to continue providing on their missions to help providing to the needy."
