Fresno woman, 24, arrested for shooting her parents

FRESNO, Calif.

Thursday morning police caught up with /*Lisa Alarcon*/ at a home in Southwest Fresno near Mayor and Inyo.

When officers arrived at the scene around 4:30 Thursday morning, they set up a perimeter around the home, and eventually made contact with the 24 year old a few hours later. They say Alarcon was uncooperative. There were children in the home during the incident, but no one was harmed.

Sgt. Glen Shafer said, "One of the children was related to the suspect and she wanted time to say goodbye before she was arrested."

Police say Alarcon fired a handful of rounds into her parent's bed, hitting both of them. Each suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police still don't know the motive for the shooting.
