Tropical storm Isaac is causing an impact on orange juice prices.

The Wall Street Journal reports commodities traders are paying close attention to the storm because they fear huge losses. However, ag experts say the severe weather is expected to cause minimal damage, and in fact some ag officials say the oranges could use some rain.

Last week orange juice for September delivery ended more than six-percent higher. That was the third straight trading day prices surged.
