Kingsburg man gets 34 years to life for deadly stabbing

VISALIA, Calif.

Marco Navarro sat quietly and without any emotion as he was given the maximum penalty for killing 55-year-old Tony Jimenez.

The judge sentenced Navarro to 34 years to life in prison after a jury convicted him of first degree murder.

Family members of Jimenez were inside the courtroom as the sentencing was handed down.

Many were satisfied with the judge's decision, but say it doesn't bring much closure.

In the video, Action News reporter Carlos Saucedo has complete coverage on the story.
