Fresno fire fighters say the fire started just before 2 a.m. Thursday morning at the complex on Beck near Huntington. When crews arrived a downstairs unit was engulfed and the flames were spreading to the unit above.

Crews contained the fire to the two units, but the entire complex was evacuated as a precaution. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but witnesses said it started in an electrical outlet in a bedroom.
