The "Operation Stand Down" event begins Tuesday and offers a respite to disadvantaged veterans. Operation Stand Down is designed to help veterans get into recovery, resolve legal issues, find employment, access health services and benefits.
Tuesday they will focus specifically on helping homeless veterans, and getting them set up in tents. Wednesday and Thursday will open to all veterans, and Friday will be closing ceremonies.
