Authorities arrest suspect in Fresno County murder

PRESS RELEASE

Responding deputies discovered the body of a female inside a trailer on the property. The female had obvious traumatic injuries and it was apparent a disturbance had occurred. Homicide detectives were immediately requested.

The investigation revealed the murder was possibly domestic violence related and detectives started to focus on the victim's 23 year old boyfriend, Gabriel Rosiles, as a possible suspect.

Shortly before 6:00pm, Rosiles was tracked to a residence located in the 4200 block of S Cherry Ave, a short distance from the murder scene. The residence was surrounded, and Rosiles was ordered to come out. After repeated commands, Rosiles exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident.

Rosiles was later transported to the Sheriff's Office and will be booked into the jail on a single charge of murder.

Rosiles is no stranger to law enforcement, is a self-admitted street gang member, and is currently on parole for vehicle theft.

The victim's name is not being released at this time pending notification of family.
