Volunteers came out to the Park View Market on Belmont and Highway 99 to wash cars for donations to pay for the funeral of Michelle Jimenez.
Deputies say Jimenez was killed by her 23-year-old boyfriend, Gabriel Rosiles.
Authorities found her body Thursday in a Fresno County home.
Family members describe Jimenez as fun-loving, caring and well-liked.
Family and friends plan to hold another car wash next Saturday at the Chevron station on Ashlan and Peach. There is also a bank account set up with Bank of America.
