Low apple harvest causes prices to increase

The lowest apple crop in the U.S. since the 80's is raising prices at the grocery store.

Ag officials say the national apple crop is the lowest since 1986, and is down 14-percent from last year. In the Midwest, the drop is at its worst -- a huge 79-percent lower than last year.

Because less fruit is available, Ag officials say apple prices are expected to go up.
